The angel of the Lord came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”

There are times in life ,when nothing seems to make any sense. Gideon found himself caged in a mindset of fear , threshing wheat in a winepress. Wrong tool for the job right , funny how fear can drive us to obscurity.Fear is a weapon of mass destruction used by the devil today to dealign humanity from its divine purpose.The fear of Midianites drove him to ineffectiveness, thus he had to double labour to get results.
Listen before we start judging Gideon here , the Midianites were lazy people who would attack only in harvest season to take produce Israelites toiled for . We have such people today in our communities, who only show themselves when you are enjoying your harvest. To them you don’t deserve harvest but you must just work your body to tiredness. They really have a pragmatic error in their mind you don’t deserve to eat good stuff ,but they don’t have a problem with you working like an ant.
Midianites give you time to clear the land , plant your seeds , water your gardens , clear the weeds off your products , but they just don’t allow you to harvest your products. In their mind whatever you work for belongs to them . They are too smart to work but are powerful enough to overpower you and take your final product.It is painful to be overpowered by these people , as a parent your children will be seeing you going to work everyday but they will be starving everyday just because your pockets are always empty.
Have you ever been around people who always remind you of things you can’t do? The enemy of your progress visualises you as an invalid. They perceive you as a doormat. They always visualize you as a means to an end and not necessarily a force to be reckoned with. Today we are at war with spiritual powers that have demarcated our existence to be merely stepping stones to their survival.
It’s your right to be free , but once you don’t understand your full worth you will always find yourself threshing wheat in a winepress . We were set free from every limitation on the cross thus no spiritual entity or physical entity has a right to sideline us from true Freedom. Gideon,the Lord is with you mighty warrior!
This is the time to fight back, God is with you .

These Midianites you see are toothless dogs preying on your fear , you don’t need a big army to destroy them only the name of YAHWEH! It really doesn’t matter how long they have terrorised you and your family this is the season to take the band of YAHWEH to battle. With human wisdom and technology you have failed to crush them , but this is the time to change strategy and use only the name of YAHWEH as your banner.
You were chosen today to destroy any generational curses troubling your family. Yes ,you are chosen to become the first millionaire in your household. Yes you are chosen to defeat the cycle of stagnation that has marred your people.This is your season. In this season whilst others are hiding from the Midianites ,we are going to confront and destroy them .
We have hidden for far too long ..now it’s time to advance and destroy these enemies who won’t allow us to enjoy the fruits of our Labour. This enemy has kept us in the gutters for far too long..Now we are going to engage with other business people on the market,yes we will sign big contracts. Our products our prices ,these Midianites no longer have power or access to our economies.
The moment someone destroys you financially, don’t take it lightly.. FIGHT BACK .Our children and the next generation depend on our finances so the enemy keeping us in poverty should be destroyed.Don’t joke around with someone trying to enslave you to borrowing and begging. That’s a dangerous enemy and he should die.
Fight every situation that limits your life. This is the moment to go ahead and confront each and every weakness.That weakness the devil is using to keep us in poverty and mediocrity has to be annihilated. The approach of hiding behind religion and allowing powers to keep us in poverty is over. What you tolerate controls you.The demon you don’t confront brings more and strong demons to keep you in mediocrity.
As much as the midianites were not confronted , Israelites would never harvest . As long as you don’t confront UNFORGIVENESS head on , resentment will be your portion. As long as we don’t confront things and elements keeping us in stagnancy,we won’t attain wealth.
Are you fighting the afflictions of sickness, confront them head-on! It is our right to be healthy so anything limiting us to healthy disorders has to be dealt with. The big problem with the midianites’ leverages if not confronted, is that they will keep you alive as long as you give them free food. They are very evil your kids will suffer in hunger but you will be seen going to work.
It’s okay to fight back,and this is the time to be bold and confront each and every spiritual contamination in our system.Any decrees fighting against us ,has to dealt with.It doesn’t matter our forefathers agreed to honour these masters it’s high time we fight back and claim our correct positions in the society.
Let today be a day to conquer and dominate our lives.God has chosen you today to destroy these wicked enemies. Yes you have the capacity to destroy them.With the power of Jesus Christ you will win. In Jesus Christ is our strength. The days of poverty will vanish once we take our correct positions in this warfare.No weapon formed against us will prosper!
