You deserve freedom

Luke 13:16,

So ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has bound think of it for eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the Sabbath?

Freedom is not just a desirable thing, it is absolutely essential. Prisoners know this all too well, as they long for it every day. People who are sick and in pain cannot be truly happy until they are free from their suffering. There was a woman who had been bent over for eighteen years. She came to the synagogue where Jesus was, determined to be healed. She had been bound by the enemy for so long that she had almost given up hope of ever being free from her affliction.

When Jesus called her a daughter of Abraham, it meant she was a part of the covenant that God made with Abraham. She wasn’t just any woman. She had rights and privileges because she was in the family line of Abraham. Imagine a royal living like a pauper in their kingdom. She was connected to the Abrahamic covenant, thus an heir to the blessings of the covenant, the enemy had violated his boundaries. Funny enough she had accepted her fate but she had to be reminded of her true identity before healing could take place.

Many times we have Christians facing battles left right and centre, some have even personalized their problems, calling them chronic illnesses, chronic battles etc. They have become so familiar with the problems that they have lost their true nature. My marriage has always been like this I am so used to pain,I just have to carry my cross and follow Jesus they profess.

“Do not let a sickness or condition become too familiar to you. As a child of God, you are above such things and they have no right to dominate your life. Remember that God has created the universe for you to dominate, so you have no business being poor or dominated by things that should be under your authority.”

As with her, you’re not just anyone. You’re a child of the Most High God. You have rights because of who you belong to. You weren’t created to be bound by sickness, an addiction, poverty nor any limitation. Get ready because the chain breaker is about to step in. If Jesus was here today, He would look at you and say, You are free from what’s holding you back.

The same power is at work, He changes not he is the same yesterday , today and tomorrow ,”Your day of freedom has come. The chain is coming off. You’re being released into healing, released into favor, released into new levels.in the Mighty Name of Jesus Amen.

Father ,thank you that You have come into our life as our Savior, as our provider, as our healer,as our protector and as our chain breaker. Thank You that our chains are gone, and we’ve been set free. I believe that every force that has been holding us back has been broken by Fire 🔥 In Jesus Name, Amen.Have a worry free week ahead God cares!
